Race 1: Started 8th; Finished 1st. Left the midfield pack behind, then grabbed the lead after a late-race safety car and held on to score first 'comeback' win!
Race 2: Started 1st; Finished 6th. Was shuffled two positions back on the opening lap, then was involved in a six-car battle for second place, but the car lacked the pace to challenge in the closing laps.
Race 3: Started 6th; Finished 7th. Lost one position in the opening lap but was part of a nine-car lead bunch. Finished only 1.7 seconds behind the winner, but again lacked the car speed to gain positions.
Summary: More competitive driving on a familiar and favourite circuit. Car was more competitive too, but still several tenths off the pace. Race win was more due to racecraft than car speed.
